About this role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and client relationship management within the Comparator Services sector. This role plays a key part in managing high-potential accounts, fostering long-term customer partnerships, and ensuring the successful sourcing and supply of comparator products within the clinical supply chain.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of subject matter experts, collaborate closely with commercial and clinical study teams, and develop tailored sourcing solutions that align with client needs. This position requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and strong leadership skills to support business expansion and optimize customer engagement.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree).
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related sector.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client engagement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with commercial pharmaceutical supply chains is an advantage.
- Experience in pharmaceutical R&D and clinical supplies is preferred.
what you can expect...
- Lead a team of industry experts, supporting the commercial team in responding to RFQs and RFIs from key clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert in comparator sourcing and supply chain, offering advisory support and providing accurate project-related information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial teams and clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze opportunity wins and losses, recommend solutions to address client retention challenges, and implement strategies for business growth.
- Champion sourcing solutions and strategies in collaboration with internal teams and coordinate client service responses, including proposal development.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across multi-site and multi-region projects, working closely with different business units.
- Support sourcing and logistics operations as needed for seamless project execution.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing customer-facing team to ensure continued professional growth and success.
- Hold Program Managers accountable for their accounts and segments, driving regional business expansion.
- Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
