About this role
As a Software Product Manager – Advanced Microscopy Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the software experience for microscopy systems. By combining user-centric design with technical innovation, you will ensure our software solutions are intuitive, functional, and aligned with cutting-edge microscopy technologies. This role involves gathering and analyzing user needs, designing software functionalities, and driving the lifecycle of software development to delivery.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field relevant to microscopy and imaging.
- At least 5 years of experience in software product development within the microscopy or imaging systems industry.
- Proven track record of leading the development and release of successful software and software features.
- Proficient in writing PRDs and designing software prototypes.
- Familiar with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of super-resolution microscopy systems, including techniques like confocal, spinning disk, SIM, STED, and SMLM.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and user-centric design.
- Ability to work across departments and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for user visits, collaborations, and field research.
what you can expect...
- Develop and design software solutions for microscopy control and image processing in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Create and manage product requirement documents (PRDs), prototypes, and project schedules, driving development through execution.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of software features, from requirement gathering and testing to release.
- Ensure software solutions meet design specifications, usability standards, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct user scenario research and gather feedback through direct engagement with users and data analysis.
- Continuously improve functionality and user experience based on insights from real-world applications.
- Define and implement a strategic roadmap for software functionalities in line with market trends and company objectives.
- Incorporate market demand and user feedback into long-term product planning.
