About this role

As the Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for delivering revenue and driving growth in France, the French speaking part of Switzerland and Belgium for Watchmaker Genomics products. You are accountable for delivering accurate revenue forecasts, enabling the leadership team to monitor business performance and drive decision making. You are required to maintain knowledge of competitor products and their commercial strategies, identifying and escalating their activities in a time bound manner. You are also accountable for providing customer feedback on Watchmaker Genomics products in addition to identifying unmet customer needs that will enable the development of new and innovative products.

This position reports to the Commercial Director – EMEA and will be responsible for driving the commercial growth across Watchmaker’s genomics product portfolio, with a specific focus on NGS library prep solutions and engineered enzymes. You’ll also be involved with the regional marketing activities, managing and setting up the distribution network in this region. You will be accountable for developing territory sales plans, understanding the competitive landscape, developing strong commercial partnerships within key accounts, distributors and providing voice-of-customer across research and development, marketing and technical support.
