Enalees is a biotech specialized in the development and marketing of lyophilized molecular diagnostic tests for animal healthcare.
Leader of PCR type veterinary tests, Enalees uses the technology named LAMP (Loop-mediated isothermal amplification) to diagnose infectious canine, feline, and equine diseases in a simple, rapid, and reliable fashion.
The company has developed more than 50 diagnostic tests to identify over 20 infections and respiratory diseases in equines, ruminants, cats and dogs. Well established in France, capturing 80% of the equine market, Enalees also has a presence in both livestock and pet sectors. The company is already expanding in the UK and Germany, with plans to grow internationally in Canada.

About this role
You join the Production team as the bridge between strategy and operations.
Your mission: translate strategic industrial goals into robust, operational processes and guide the scale‑up of our manufacturing activities. Although you do not manage a team directly, your impact comes through transversal leadership, influencing production teams to apply and maintain best practices — a “firm hand in a velvet glove”.

Who are we looking for...
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, industrialization, or scale up in biotech, pharma, chemicals or related industries.
- Strong hands on expertise in scale up: defining processes, installing equipment, driving ramp up and stabilizing performance.
- Solid understanding of quality systems (deviations, CAPA, traceability, validation practices).
- Ability to work in a fast moving, evolving environment and collaborate with diverse technical teams.
- Natural ability to influence, convince and coordinate — with diplomacy and firmness.
- Excellent communication skills; capable of transforming strategic objectives into operational standards.
- Degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or related field.
what you can expect...
- Define, optimize and document production processes, from pilot to industrial scale (process definition, protocols, SOPs, validation plans).
- Lead the scale up activities: equipment selection and installation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), ramp up, stabilization.
- Act as the primary interface between Operations, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D and Maintenance.
- Monitor execution on the shop floor to ensure process adherence, detect deviations early and drive corrective actions.
- Support the qualification and deployment of new production lines in the upcoming Enalees facility.
- Develop robust control strategies (SPC, statistical methods, deviation analysis, risk assessments).
- Train and support operators and production teams — without hierarchical authority — to ensure reliable execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, SMED, waste reduction, capex justification).
- Ensure process reliability and maintainability by working closely with Maintenance on preventive and corrective actions.
