About this role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Executive to join our global Commercial team. This is a brand-new role, and you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, solidify our direct presence in the region, and delivering on our mission. The Account Executive West will report to the CCO.

Who are we looking for...
- Master’s degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields (Advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in life sciences, selling capital equipment to academic, biotech, and biopharma customers.
- Proven track record as a hunter, excelling in prospecting, lead generation, and business closing.
- Deep understanding of microscopy and imaging market needs.
- Strong network within the life sciences research community in North America.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Willingness to travel 40-50% within North America (West), with occasional international travel.
- Experience in translational research, Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy, or bioimaging core facilities is highly desirable.
what you can expect...
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Western North America market in collaboration with the CCO.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing sales opportunities within academic, biotech, and biopharma segments.
- Expand market presence by identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and strengthening industry connections.
- Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and emerging researchers who will become future advocates for advanced microscopy solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to educate and engage customers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Stay informed about localization microscopy, advanced imaging techniques, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs.
