About this role
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand key accounts across DACH. Reporting to the Director, this role is ideal for a results-driven, entrepreneurial professional with a strong background in capital equipment sales, proteomics, molecular biology, or DNA sequencing markets. The successful candidate will engage directly with pharma, biotech, and academic research organizations, building relationships and driving adoption of our platform.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales and business development experience across relevant life science markets.
- Proven track record of selling capital equipment and reagents within the biotech, pharma, and academic sectors.
- Strong relationships with pharma, biotech, and research organizations; experience in drug discovery and biologics development is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of proteomics assay methodologies, including immunoassays, mass spectrometry, and proteomics workflows, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Hunter mentality - highly driven, self-motivated, and eager to win new business.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, pivoting strategies as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong technical proficiency.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within Germany and Europe.

- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, driving adoption our technology.
- Manage the complex sales process for capital equipment, reagents, and software services, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Deliver compelling scientific and technical presentations, product demonstrations, and platform installations at customer sites.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and academia, ensuring continued engagement and expansion.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, manage customer accounts, and identify new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Provide regular updates on territory performance, forecasts, and progress toward sales goals.
- Represent Quantum-Si at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase market presence.
- Utilize SFDC and sales enablement platforms to track and manage activities efficiently.
