About this role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive sales of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions in clinical and diagnostic environments across Belgium. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, EMEA West, this role focuses on expanding market adoption of NGS platforms within academic medical centers, pathology labs, hospitals, and routine testing laboratories.
The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, manage the customer pipeline, and drive business growth in clinical genomics. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills to ensure successful customer engagement and technology adoption.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (PhD is a plus, but not required). Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proven sales success in the healthcare market, including in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong background in NGS sequencing and molecular biology.
- Understanding of clinical genomics, healthcare industry standards, and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
- Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage.

- Promote NGS clinical solutions to existing and new customers within the clinical and diagnostic sector.
- Drive successful adoption of sequencing technology, exploring both pre-clinical and clinical applications.
- Manage the sales pipeline, guiding opportunities from initial contact to contract closure.
- Achieve revenue targets by executing regional sales forecasts and conducting regular business reviews.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities in CRM (Salesforce).
- Develop strategic business plans to grow market share, protect existing business, and expand into new customer segments.
- Align complex product solutions and services with key customer needs, enhancing customer satisfaction and value.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and decision-makers.
- Deliver effective sales presentations tailored to different audiences and decision-makers.
- Travel 50-75% of the time within the assigned region.
