About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Geneyx. As the VP of Sales in the USA, you will drive revenue growth & customer expansion across the US NGS market for their leading bioinformatics solution. Your reponsabilities include propspecting, qualiying, educating prospects, and ultimately driving new sales to exceed revenue targets.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences — preferably in Molecular Biology — or in Business or a related discipline (required).
- 3–5 years of software or technical sales experience, preferably within the medical market (required).
- U.S. work authorization (required).
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the healthcare industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome challenges in changing market conditions.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated and driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to excellence.
what you can expect...
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive sustained revenue growth. Understand their needs, technology landscape, and strategic goals.
- Conduct outreach via calls, emails, webinars, and video/in-person meetings. Schedule and lead product demos with support from Field Application Specialists (FAS).
- Deliver impactful product presentations and webinars. Attend conferences and industry events to generate leads and support client engagement.
- Create and execute account plans and business development strategies to ensure growth. Maintain a well-qualified pipeline that exceeds quota expectations.
- Keep CRM and related systems up to date with accurate activity tracking, pipeline management, and necessary documentation (NDAs, quotes, POs, invoices).
- Stay current on product capabilities, market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform sales strategies and influence product development.
- Work closely with management to develop effective closing tactics and report on progress toward goals.
