Enalees is a biotech specialized in the development and marketing of lyophilized molecular diagnostic tests for animal healthcare.
Leader of PCR type veterinary tests, Enalees uses the technology named LAMP (Loop-mediated isothermal amplification) to diagnose infectious canine, feline, and equine diseases in a simple, rapid, and reliable fashion.
The company has developed more than 50 diagnostic tests to identify over 20 infections and respiratory diseases in equines, ruminants, cats and dogs. Well established in France, capturing 80% of the equine market, Enalees also has a presence in both livestock and pet sectors. The company is already expanding in the UK and Germany, with plans to grow internationally in Canada.

About this role
As Country Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the expansion of the business in the territory. You will oversee all operations, including building and leading a team, managing finance performance, and developing business strategies to expand the company’s presence and market share within the country.

Who are we looking for...
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Animal Health, Biology, Biotechnology or related fields.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Sales and Management
- Strong understanding of the animal health sector, including veterinary clinics and market dynamics within the country.
- Skilled in delegation and team leadership through active listening and coaching.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and mediation skills, as well as demonstrated attention to detail and a focus on achieving quality outcomes.
- Ability to build/foster relationships.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in expanding market presence across targeted regions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Webex, or related teleconferencing software.
- Ability to travel frequently

- Lead the creation and recruitment of the Canadian team in 2026, including sales representatives, regulatory affairs manager, and office operations.
- Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day management of the local team.
- Oversee and develop the Canadian team in the short term, with the aim of managing the broader North American team in the long term.
- Drive early-stage business development activities to establish Enalees’ presence in Canada.
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategic plans to grow market share.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, veterinary clinics, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage profit and loss for the Canadian entity, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external accounting firms to manage the annual balance sheet, payroll, and compliance.
- Coordinate with headquarters to align regional objectives with global business goals.
- Represent Enalees at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to increase visibility and support business growth.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
