Vizgen specializes in spatial genomics, a cutting-edge field that maps gene expression directly within intact tissues at single-cell resolution. Their core technology, MERFISH (Multiplexed Error-Robust Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization), allows researchers to visualize and quantify hundreds to thousands of RNA molecules simultaneously, all while preserving the spatial organization of cells.
Unlike traditional sequencing, which loses the context of where genes are active, Vizgen’s platform provides detailed maps showing which genes are expressed, in which cells, and exactly where those cells are located in the tissue. This is crucial for understanding complex biological systems like tumors, the brain, or developing organs.
By combining MERFISH with high-resolution imaging and powerful data analysis, Vizgen offers researchers unprecedented insight into cellular behavior, tissue structure, and disease mechanisms.

Our collaboration began with a project to find Vizgen’s Sales Director for the EMEA region, and the rest is history!
As Vizgen entered new markets (both EMEA and APAC), and strengthened their presence in the USA, they needed rapid access to highly qualified professionals for strategic hires.

Results
Since 2021, SRC-Search has successfully filled 32 commercial, service, and support roles across EMEA, APAC, and the USA, facilitating Vizgen’s rapid global growth. This included both global and regional directors, and key first hires across EMEA, as well as in China, Japan, and Singapore.
The initial hire, a Sales Director for EMEA (now VP of Sales, EMEA), led the company’s expansion in Europe, building a strong commercial team with the support of SRC-Search.
As Vizgen’s only recruitment partner, our in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and objectives enabled successful placements, playing a vital role in Vizgen’s worldwide success.
