About this role
As the Technical Product Manager – Advanced Microscopy, you will lead the development and lifecycle management of cutting-edge microscopy systems, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of innovation and market competitiveness. This role requires a multidisciplinary foundation in optics, mechanics, electronics, and control systems, combined with strategic vision and market awareness. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, R&D, production, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with customer needs and industry trends.

Who are we looking for...
- Master's degree or higher in Optics, Automation, Electronics, or a related field relevant to microscopy or imaging technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the microscopy or related high-tech hardware industry.
- Proven leadership in the end-to-end development of at least one advanced microscopy system or related hardware product.
- Deep understanding of super-resolution microscopy techniques (e.g., SIM, STED, SMLM), confocal systems, and spinning disk technology.
- Strong project management skills and experience with cross-departmental collaboration.
- Independent thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle diverse technical and strategic tasks.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support collaboration, training, and implementation.

- Design comprehensive solutions for advanced microscopy systems, from requirements analysis and technical selection to risk assessment and execution.
- Define and refine product specifications in line with strategic goals and market demand.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of microscopy systems and integrated hardware components, from prototyping and testing to production and delivery.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
- Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, R&D, and production teams to manage product lifecycles and resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor advancements in microscopy technologies, materials, and processes.
- Introduce innovative techniques and solutions to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
- Evaluate and establish partnerships with technology collaborators to drive innovation and scalability.
- Develop and execute technical roadmaps for microscopy products based on industry trends and market analysis.
