About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Field Application Team in the U.S. as a Commercial Field Application Scientist (FAS). This role involves engaging with researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to promote our software solutions for genomic data analysis. As a technical field representative, you will help establish strong customer relationships, provide comprehensive training, and ensure high levels of platform adoption and utilization.
Additionally, you will offer logistical support, troubleshooting assistance, and technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and product success. This position is ideal for someone passionate about genetics, bioinformatics, and data-driven solutions who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Who are we looking for...
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Bioinformatics, or Molecular Biology.
- Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), either in a laboratory setting or bioinformatics development (mandatory).
- 1-3 years of industry experience is a plus.
- Experience with Python development and bash scripting languages (bash, awk, sed, etc.).
- Basic SQL skills.
- Experience with Linux installations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with prior experience in customer-facing roles or as an FAS.
- Clinical experience is preferred, with an emphasis on data analysis and interpretation of DNA sequencing data.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with strong public speaking ability.
- Aptitude for explaining, training, and troubleshooting scientific concepts, applications, and methods.
- Ability to work remotely from home, with occasional travel to engage with clients.
