About this role
We are seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) to drive business growth and expand our presence in Bruker Spatial Biology across the UK, Ireland, and distribution channels. This role is responsible for leading and managing a district sales team, setting strategic goals, overseeing day-to-day sales operations, and ensuring revenue targets are met. The DSM plays a key role in account management for large or strategic customers and is responsible for accurate forecasting and business planning.

Who are we looking for...
- 5+ years of sales experience in fast-paced, high-growth organizations.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams.
- Experience in market development, particularly in expanding life sciences businesses within a specific territory.
- Strong ability to position products strategically and develop roadmaps for new product introductions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in forecasting quarterly sales for both systems and consumables.
- Entrepreneurial, action-oriented mindset with a strong drive for business growth.
- Experience with molecular or spatial biology products and services.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region.
what you can expect...
- Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy, leading the district sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and mentor the district sales team, providing coaching, training, and support to drive high performance.
- Directly engage in account management for key and strategic customers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) at both the account and territory levels, identifying trends and taking corrective action as needed.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of territory business plans to ensure accurate forecasting and revenue delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Experience and Marketing teams to enhance customer engagement and support business initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and thought leaders in the field.
